WhatEver!

trying out a new expression

Me and Milon

You love your ayah Milon. Lately you've been wanting to be with her in the morning, more than you want to be with us. We're trying not to get our feelings hurt when we see you looking and crying for her, but we are glad you are so attached to her. We know you love us though because we get huge smiles and squeals of excitement when we come home!

rollin' rollin' rollin'

E,
You are not crawling yet, but very close. You current mode of transport is rolling. You rool across the living room and hang out under the coffee table. Recently, you gave Milon a bit of a surprise when she couldn't find you...then she heard you laughing from under the bed! She of course grabbed the camera!

School Visits

Elizabeth,
We hate to leave you in the morning, but we love to see you at school for lunch! You get to hang out in Mom's classroom while we eat lunch. The kids love making you laugh and we love to see how Milon dresses you for the day!

That's Not My Puppy!

Elizabeth,
You love to read books. This book is one of your favorites! One day we will have a puppy, maybe it's ears will be shaggy!

Bird Watching

One of your new favorite activities is to watch the birds from the window. You are pretty good at holding yourself up on the couch so you can see. For now, the birds you love the best are the big crows (that your mom thinks are a little scary). Just wait until you get to Grandma and Grandpa's house in New York. They have birds, squirrels, and deer to see out of their window!

FOOD!!

You've been eating solid food for about a month. It is great fun to feed you especially because you love to eat. You are not so crazy about lumps but I think once you get a tooth or two you will only want food you can chew! Milon makes most of your food, although your mom has gotten good at mashing up the bananas!

Knittastic

One of the gifts you got before you were born was a set of knit doughnuts. Your favorite is the one with sprinkles. For Christmas you got a set of knitted vegetables (radish, carrot, tomato, and cauliflower) and a set of knitted ice cream cones. You gave Dad a knitted bagel, pizza, and soft pretzel! What will will be knitted next?

Sippy Cup

For a few weeks you've been grabbing at whatever container your Dad or I have been drinking from, so we thought it was time to introduce you to a sippy cup. You still have a little work to do before you've figured out how to manage a beverage in a cup but you sure enjoy the new experience!

Smiles

Elizabeth,
Lately you have been all smiles and giggles. You're such a happy girl and we love your smiles!

Kitchen Helper

You are a great helper in the kitchen. You are learning words like whisk, ladle, rolling pin, and spatula.

Gettin' Cozy!

E,
Winter is here in Dhaka. Mom and Dad got out their cozy sweaters and pants. You also have discovered your cozy PJs and hats. Justin and Kelly gave you this stylish striped hat for Christmas. Guess which way you like to wear it??!
